Next in the line are poison based skills (except Venom) which all will likely perform well, and they have access to a low level runeword to help them out early. PD2 seems to have a somewhat large balancing bias towards pure magic damage skills it feels - so those will perform naturally well endgame. Magic damage skills > poison damage skills > physical damage skills > elemental damage skills.
